Thieves grab motorcyclist's gold chain as he fills up with petrol
This is the shocking moment thieves stole a motorcyclist's gold chain as he filled up with petrol.
The middle aged man was was watching the counter while standing next to his bike at the station in Batu Bahat, Malaysia last Sunday (15/02) afternoon.
CCTV footage shows how a young rider in black helmet was dropped off on the opposite side of the pump.
He the walked round and grabbed the chain before a third man, acting as a getaway rider, colelcted him and sped away.
The three thieves were so well organised that the victim was left in a daze as he tried to figure out who was involved.
CCTV from the Shell station has now been handed to police who are searching for those involved.
Batu Pahat deputy police chief Supt Muhammad Izzudin Runggai said: ''The suspects were well-organised and may have been responsible for other thefts in the area.
''They have a very ruthless method that they have practised and they are quick to escape. Anyone with information should tell the police immediately before they do this again.''
