Russian man creates fully-functioning electric guitar out of 107 iPhones
Amazing moment a man from Russia made a fully-functioning electric guitar out of over 100 iPhones.
The clip, filmed in October, shows Artem Mayer glue together various iPhones before drilling holes into them and finally creating an incredible guitar.
Artem Mayer explained his process to Newsflare: "I used 107 iPhones in total and their cases to make the most unusual guitar in my life. Not a single iPhone ... survived!
"I didn't count the number of batteries and screens I threw out! For the most part, they had already outlived their age. Surprisingly, iPhones really give a lot of high frequencies, despite the fact that the block of the guitar is made of mahogany."
Artem Mayer bought the iPhones from second-hand stores and repair shops around his city, and to create the guitar it cost him almost £2,000. The finished guitar is being sold for over £6,000.
