Police in northwest China rescue herdsman and his sheep trapped in wetland
Police in northwestern China's Xinjiang rescued a herdsman and his three sheep trapped in a muddy wetland.
The video, provided by Kashgar Television with permission shows several police officers carrying the 63-year-old herdsman named Mai while others pulling the ropes attached to him to try to move him to safety.
After that, the police freed three sheep from the wetland.
Mai was shepherding his sheep and accidentally fell into the thick mud. He called the police for help after being stuck there for three hours.
Mai was immediately sent to hospital for treatment by police after being rescued successfully. Now he is in good condition.
