American fighter jets thunder through Wales at low level
US Air Force F15 Strike Eagle fighter jets from RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk were seen thundering through a valley in North Wales known as the ‘Machynlleth loop’ (or Mach loop) at approx 550mph and only 500feet from the ground. You can see they are almost at the same height as the people in the hillside. The sound was amazing and were a welcome addition to the amazing scenery.
