Two men were caught on camera being beaten up by toll plaza employees at 10:23 on Tuesday (February 25) for allegedly for questioning the electronic toll fee ‘FASTag.'

In the CCTV footage, the driver is seen arguing with the toll plaza employees and the employees then lashing him with sticks.

According to local media, the driver was first slapped by a female employee at the toll plaza, before other employees dragged the men into their office.

The incident occurred in Tamil Nadu-Karnataka Highway Attibele town of Bengaluru Urban district.

A report has been registered at the Attibele police station.

A driver and cleaner of a pickup truck were beaten up by toll plaza employees for questioning as to why the electronic toll fee ‘FASTag’ was not working in the south Indian state of Karnataka.

The incident took place on February 25, 10:23 am in Tamil Nadu-Karnataka Highway Attibele town of Bengaluru Urban district.

According to the reports, the driver was first slapped by a female employee at the toll plaza for questioning.

After which the other employees drag him into the office, where they thrashed the driver and cleaner mercilessly.

The cop who arrived also started hitting the driver.

A case has been registered in the Attibele police station.
