Bike rider making illegal U-turn narrowly avoids being crushed by bus in India
A motorcyclist had a severe near miss with an oncoming bus after making an absent-minded U-turn on a road in south India.
The terrifying incident was filmed by a traffic CCTV camera near Sanjeevani Park in Dharwad, Karnataka on February 26.
The rider was caught on camera turning around right in front of a bus and narrowly escaped by abandoning his bike and jumping on the pavement.
Police said the bus driver slammed his brakes and moved to his right helping the rider save his life. The rider fled with his bike soon after the incident.
