Base jumper uses wingsuit to commute home down Swiss cliff face

A base jumper in Verbier, Switzerland flew from an 800-metre high cliff edge using his wingsuit to commute home on March 1.

The footage shows the base jumper descends from the told of the cliff, where he works during the day to the valley bottom where he lives.

During the flight, he chicanes above the trees, he eventually pulls the cord for the parachute bringing an end to the terrifying descent.

The filmer explained: "I jumped after work to go back home from Verbier in Switzerland.

"I do this regularly, almost every day.

"I am a seasonal worker, I work only in winter and the rest of the time I travel.

"I work in Verbier in winter and the rest of the time I live in a van across Europe."
