King cobra appeared to an animal rescuer in Indonesia.

In footage filmed on Sunday (March 1) in Agam district, West Sumatra province, rescuers from the B-Reptanic Rescue named Waldi are looking for snakes that are troubling residents.

Waldi saw the snake among the bamboo clumps and after confirming it was a type of king cobra, he approached for rescue efforts.

Rescuer has touched the snake's neck and head with a hook to test the snake reaction, but when he gets closer to the snake it makes the snake retreat and disappear into the bamboo clumps.

According to Waldi, the King Cobra snake estimated to be male with a length of 10 feet.

According to residents who reported to animal rescuer, the snake was often seen in a bamboo clump as it was allegedly guarding its eggs. The snake is disturbing and threatens the safety of residents because it is located not far behind the houses of residents.

Search and rescue of the snake failed, but rescuer found dozens of king cobra eggs ready to hatch.

The search for snakes continued the next day and managed to find a king cobra with a wounded body condition shot by residents a few days earlier.
