Ismail Kazadi, a migrant now living on the street around the corner from Cape Town police station, accuses South Africans of xenophobia.

Kazadi is one of the remaining migrants who were removed from Greenmarket Square on Sunday 1 March. They were removed in terms of a high court order which granted the City of Cape Town the right to enforce its municipal bylaws.

Last night, after a protracted standoff between refugees and law enforcement officers from the City of Cape Town, the refugees settled outside the District Six museum, less than a hundred meters from the Cape Town Central Police Station.
