A large hailstorm has battered the mountainous provinces in Vietnam on March 3.

The footage shows the large hailstones crashing down onto the roofs of buildings. According to witnesses, the hail lasted for around 40 minutes.

More than 2,700 houses were damaged due to the sheer size of the hail. Thousands of hectares of crops were destroyed and four people were injured in the storm.

This is considered a terrible hailstorm in this area. There has never been a hail of ice with the size of huge ice cubes in such large numbers falling into this area. The hailstorm that lasted for more than 40 minutes landed on a mass of ice that whitened the area.

According to the witnesses, The hailstorm suddenly appears at noon. People heard the sound of falling ices continuously. They see everywhere it was full of ice. People tried to find safe havens for themselves. This was the most terrible hailstorm they had ever seen in this area.

There have been 3 northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam affected by hail. More than 2,700 houses were damaged roofs due to ice. Thousands of hectares of crops were destroyed. Four people were injured by the hail.
