Doctors remove 3-kg hairball from stomach of 15-year-old girl in northern India
In a rare medical case, Indian doctors removed a three-kilogram hairball from the stomach of a 15-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh, northern India.
Shivani was underweight for her age, weighing only 29 kilograms.
Doctor Imran Ali at Lohia Hospital said the teenager had been eating her own hair since childhood which gathered in her stomach, giving her stomach problems.
The large clump of hair shown in the video was removed from Shivani's stomach and she is currently continuing treatment at Lohia Hospital.
