Dozen of cars get involved in pileup on Chinese highway
2月28日下午，乐广高速公路发生一起15车连环追尾事故，韶关高速交警快速高效处置，一小时内恢复通行。事故没有造成人员伤亡。
14时45分，乐广高速公路南行K65杨溪隧道入口处发生多起共涉15车连环追尾交通事故。由于正值复工返岗车流高峰期（乐广高速南行日均车流量超过1.5万辆次），且事故涉及车辆、人员较多，一些人在现场路面逗留、行走，对交通安全、秩序造成较大影响。
事故发生后，韶关交警高速三大队巡逻、事故组民警分别从乳源东、乐昌驻点赶赴现场，做好警示防护、指挥疏导、事故勘查、疏散人群至安全区域等工作，同时要求车辆能开的立即前往乳源东出口处置，并根据需求协调拯救队到场拖离不能移动的车辆。1小时内路面车辆、人员被“清空”。15：40左右恢复道路正常通行，避免了造成交通拥堵、二次事故，保障了涉事人员的人身安全。
交警初步分析，事故原因为涉事车辆未保持足够的安全距离，导致多车连续追尾。为此，交警提示，高速公路行车一定要保持安全车速和足够的车距。(韶关交警)
