Oof! Overconfident skier's leap of faith off Mt Hood leads to hilariously hard landing
Skier Danny Freed showed why sometimes it's a good idea to work out where you plan to land before you launch yourself off a ski ramp above a steep drop.
In this hilariously painful clip, Freed jumps off a ramp high on Mt Hood but overshoots a possible soft landing on the snow immediately below and instead lands hard on flat, icy-looking snow beyond that.
Fortunately, his friends come over to offer their sympathies and support while he recovers from his painful crash to Earth.
