An Indonesian shopping centre has set up temperature checks for every visitor to scan for coronavirus symptoms.

Filmed on March 6, staff can be seen scanning shoppers temperatures before the enter the centre in Medan.

The mall is also providing hand sanitisers around the vicinity and cleaners are routinely cleaning elevators and escalators.

In anticipation of the spread of the corona virus (covid-19), one of the shopping centers or malls in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, carries out a body temperature check for every mall visitor who enters, Friday 6 March 2020.

Not only checking body temperature, the mall also provides a number of hand sanitizers at several points for visitors to use when cleaning their hands.

The mall cleaners also routinely clean places that are often held such as elevators and dividing boards, and escalator stairs.

Inside the elevator officers have also been prepared who are operators using complete gloves to reduce direct contact from hands.

This is all done by the mall to anticipate the smell of the corona virus in the mall.
