A chubby moggy tried to fool a vet into believing that it had already died in order to avoid being vaccinated.

Footage from February 14 evening, taken by owner Vassana Naklong, shows a pet cat named Guichai playing dead on the table of a veterinary clinic in the Thai capital.

"You should not be scared of the vet, Guichai. Look at how big you are, the vet should be scared of you instead," says the cat's owner in the video.

It appeared to be playing dead after realising that a painful injection was to come. The cat was frozen while hiding itself in the basket which was laid on the counter of the animal hospital in Bangkok, central Thailand. Vassana says in the video: "You should not be scared of the vet, Guichai. Look at how big you are, the vet should be scared of you instead."
