An Indian woman in Madurai makes biodegradable sanitary pads and hands them out to underprivileged women for free.

The footage filmed on March 6 shows Kannamma create the pads from scratch using 100 per cent pure cotton.

All the pads are handmade by Kannamma and contain aloe vera without any chemical substances.

A 42-year-old woman from Madurai, has started producing biodegradable sanitary napkins to promote healthier menstrual hygiene among underprivileged women.She gave this napkins free to underprivilized wonen .

Kannamma from Madurai has launched a new revolution in women's napkin.On the basis of decomposable napkin kannamma started making 100 pure cotton napkins (use of surgical cotton and fig cotton) since the regular usage of napkins are not decomposable in soil.

All the napkins are hand made by kannamma which also contains aloe vera and Margo without any chemical substance.

Kannamma says For women's there are many restrictions in food items but many don't have awareness on usage of the napkins which also cause illness to them.

While using the regular napkins which also affects human liver is the main reason triggered me to start this cotton napkins.
Am making awareness through college's and many public places and got a good response too.

The cotton napkins which made is also sells in a affordable price and it was 100 percent success and makes me satisfied.
