2020 Cape Town Cycle Tour
The 2020 Cape Town Cycle Tour took place in Cape Town. The race is world’s largest timed cycle race for both amateurs and professionals.
The race started in 1978 and now has more than 35 000 entrants annually. The race starts at the Cape of Good Hope and tours around the Cape Peninsula and ends at Cape Town Stadium.
Alan Winde, the Premier of the Western Cape, took part in the race and also was happy to explain how the cycle tour contributes more than five hundred million rand to the economy of Cape Town and the Western Cape.
Catherine Colyn a cyclist with Team Bioplus and was happy to boost how the tour takes cyclists across some of the best scenery in the world and a world heritage site (Table Mountain).
