London shoppers continue to panic buy as supermarkets introduce rationing

The Coronavirus induced panic buying continues in supermarkets up and down the UK with toiletries, painkillers, sanitising products, toilet paper, dry goods and long-life UHT milk in short supply as retailers struggle to keep up with high demand.

Sainsburys have introduced the rationing of certain products allowing a maximum of five units per customer to discourage stockpiling of goods. Supermarkets Tesco and Morrisons have similarly implemented a rationing system.
