Wild tusker storms into village, jumps into pond after being chased by angry villagers in eastern India
A tusker strayed into a village and gets chased by the villagers, eventually landing up inside a nearby pond in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal.
The incident took place in Sankarbani village of Paschim Medinipur district on March 12, 8 AM.
The video shows, the elephant being chased away by the villager after it invaded the village.
Following this, the elephant swam across a nearby a pond to escape from the villagers.
According to the reports, no casualties were reported after the incident.
