Taken by photographer Yvette D, she describes the scene "This photo was taken at the top of the falls which is an "at your own risk" part of the Elk Falls Provincial Park in Campbell River, British
Columbia. You can experience the cool spray of the falls from a few spots like this one. Elk Falls is a "plunge" waterfall meaning that the water plunges vertically downward from the cliff, losing contact with the bedrock, before dropping 25m into Campbell River below. It gushes fairly constantly throughout the year. This photo was taken early-August last summer. The park is named after the falls as it is a main attraction."
