A huge landslide tore down a mountainside in northern India today (March 14th) blocking a national highway.

The incident took place in the Kinnaur District of the state of Himachal Pradesh.

According to the reports, officials are still in the process of clearing the debris to allow traffic to flow on National Highway-5.

No casualties were reported, according to local media.

An unexpected landslide left passengers and vehicles were stranded on both the sides of the National Highway-5 in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The incident took place in Purbani village of Kinnaur District on March 14 at 1:30 PM.

The video shows, a massive landslide collapsing on the national highway.

Following this, the entire road stretch in the area was blocked off.

According to the reports, the officials are still in the process of clearing the debris flow to clear the highway for vehicle transit.

No casualties reported after the incident.
