Male adult film star Woody Fox from Australia had an awkward encounter with a monkey in Bali when it smacked him as he took a selfie with the animal.

In the video, Woody is seen posing with his camera beside the monkey while it eats a piece of bread.

The actor is seen smiling in the video and positioning himself to get the perfect angle while the monkey snacks on some bread next to him.

But the animal became angry after Woody looked at it in the eye. The monkey lashed out and grabbed Woody's arm, knocking him from his selfie perch and shouting at the creature.

Thankfully Woody said he was not hurt during the encounter and was able to continue with the tour after the incident.

He said: ''Woody lost face in Bali monkey attack.''
