Leopard rescued from 40-foot deep well in huge operation in India
A leopard was rescued by Indian forest officials from a 40-foot deep well in India on March 15.
The technical rescue occurred in the village Sikandpura, Pohri, an area in Shivpuri district.
A villager who heard a noise from the well nearby his field was shocked to see the wild animal in the depths below and immediately informed the forest department.
According to the information received, the leopard fell at 11 a.m. and was rescued from the well after five hours of hard work.
The forest official with the help of villagers used a cot in which the leopard sat.
As soon as it came out, the leopard ran out of the well and ran towards the forest.
