Kenya has confirmed two more COVID-19 cases bringing the country's total to three.

The footage, filmed on March 15, shows staff at the Mbagathi County Hospital's infectious disease unit getting into hazmat suits and putting face masks on as suspected coronavirus patients are being quarantined there.

The Ministry of Health on Saturday said some 22 people who came into contact with the first confirmed coronavirus patient have been traced and quarantined at the infectious unit in Mbagathi hospital. Seen on the video are specialists getting ready to go carry out tests and examination on the quarantined patients.

The hospital facility is located in Kenyatta, Dagoretti Division of Nairobi West District. It borders the Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenyatta City Council Market, Forces Memorial Hospital, the Kenya medical Research Institute and the Kibera slums.

It is the only public health facility within Nairobi that the Ministry of Health relies on to decongest the Kenyatta National Hospital which is mandated to handle referral cases.
