Brave father risks life to save 2-year-old daughter from room where runaway leopard was holed up; forest officials rescue beast following marathon operation in Western India
A leopard found entering a home in a village in western India, caught by forest officials.
This incident took place at the Chaturi village in the Khambha tehsil of the Amreli district on March 15, 2020.
According to reports, a leopard entered the residence of Bekhubhai Aibalbhai Jadja with his two-year-old daughter Sorahi inside.
Risking his personal safety, he entered the house to rescue his daughter and escaped with her.
The forest officials were called and they trapped the leopard and attempted to capture it using ropes.
The rescue operation took more than four hours as they leopard sustained minor injuries in the process.
Finally, after the leopard was rescued it was taken to the Jashaghar animal care center for treatment.
