A man precariously walks across a damaged bridge out of innate desperation in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The incident took place at Luna bridge in Chamba on March 15, 2020.

According to reports, the bridge was the primary source of convenience for several surrounding villages including Aurafati, Salli, Murgada and Dibba.

The bridge was damaged one year back, but the village administration failed to repair it in due time.

This led to the collapse of a part of the bridge.

The video shows the man risking his life trying to walk across the bridge, and handing over his things to another person over the damaged part.

The locals are still awaiting the bridge repair.
