A train station in Hamburg has been deserted as citizens begin to isolate themselves to prevent COVID-19 spread.

This footage was filmed on March 18 and shows a deserted train station as well as a weekly market receiving few customers.

Angela Merkel asked german citizens to minimize their open life and social contacts. As a result, many public places are empty and without a human soul. Even though many European countries already "locking down" Germany has not put its citizens into a "Lockdown".
