Doctor in China removes toothpicks, cotton swabs and pencils from boy's body
A doctor removed 30 toothpicks, 24 cotton swabs and five pencils from a nine-year-old boy's body in southern.
The video, filmed in the city of Qinzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on March 13, shows something getting stuck in the boy's gastrointestinal tract in the x-ray picture.
The doctor named Yang Lijian had an over four-hour surgery for the boy to take out more than 30 toothpicks, 24 cotton swab, five pencils and other items.
Fortunately, the boy is recovering well and started to have soup and congee.
