Whilst the government issue more astringent instructions to limit social interaction in an attempt to slow the spread of the Corona Virus, it is not just towns and cities where people are choosing to ignore the advice, it is also in rural areas!

In the midst of East Sussex, The Ashdown Forest provides a huge open green space. On a normal weekend there is an increase in those visiting the area, but today (22 March) the car parks were not only cram packed but overflowing .Couple, families and groups were in evidence rather than people on their own, It was not only the young, some more elderly in the community are ignoring advice to stay indoors and are also out and about. There are certainly people in the surrounding villages self isolating with expected Covid -19, but these cases have not been confirmed due to lack of testing. Perhaps this has led to a false sense of security.
