Police in Srinagar, Kashmir are using drones to monitor residents movement during the COVID-19 lockdown and to ensure residents are aware of the restrictions imposed on them by the administration amid this pandemic.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the closure of all establishments except those that provide essential services until March 31.

Police team headed by SSP Dr. Haseeb Mughal monitoring the situation here in Srinagar following the Coronavirus threat mounting on city after a lady came from Gulf country tested positive last week . Police & administration since then came into action & take every preventive precautions for people . Police appeals General public through drones to stay at home else you will face the heat according to Law . SSP further said its mandatory for people to stay at home for yourself & for your dear one's.

SSP also said some businesses establishments are open their shops despite police has issues advisory for them to close down their shops but they violating the procedures , SSP said I appeal them all to maintain calm & avoid make gathering & keep prefer to stay at home .. Coronavirus virus is pandemic & it creates panic globally we defeat it when we will stay at home & avoid gatherings, he said
