A car exploded beside a bus in northern China, breaking the bus windows and injuring passengers.

The dramatic moment, captured in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province on March 23, shows passengers jumping out of their seats after an explosion shattered the vehicle's windows.

In another clip, two gas cylinders can be seen in the car's boot.

Fortunately, there were only eight passengers on the bus when the incident happened and only several people had minor scratches, while the car driver was not injured.

The car driver called the police and they took the injured people to be checked in hospital.

According to reports, there was no sign the gas cylinders being damaged and the cause of the explosion is still being investigated.

23日9时许，在哈尔滨市南岗区学府路241号附近路段，一辆正在等红灯的黑色轿车“砰”一声发出爆响，紧接着该车及旁边一辆369路公交车车窗玻璃破碎，事故致公交车内多名乘客受伤入院检查。
据369路公交车驾驶员介绍，事情发生在9时许，当时他正开车在路口等红灯，突然就听“砰”的一声巨响，然后车驾驶员一侧玻璃就全碎了，车里乘客和他全都吓坏了，不知道发生了什么，也不知道是什么东西炸了。“幸好当时车里没多少乘客，驾驶员一侧8名乘客身上都是玻璃碎片，有的被玻璃碎片划伤了，但都没有大碍。”该驾驶员说，事发后，他打开车门疏导乘客下车，然后发现车旁边一个黑色轿车车窗玻璃也都碎了，车体变形，后备箱开着，里面拉着一个煤气罐，轿车男司机受了惊吓站在车旁边，但没有受伤，他立即报了警。不久，交警赶到现场，然后把黑色轿车男驾驶员带往交警部门配合调查，他则带着乘客前往医院检查。
目击过路司机李师傅告诉记者，当时他在黑色轿车后面不远处，就听“砰”一声，轿车玻璃就碎了，后备箱盖也被顶开了，前后风挡玻璃全飞出来了，砸中了旁边另外两辆轿车，他见状立即把车靠边查看，看到黑色轿车后备箱里装着一个煤气罐，但煤气罐似乎没有爆炸过得迹象，接着有关部门就赶到了现场，将轿车和煤气罐一起运离进行调查。
