Coronavirus turns UK holiday town into 'ghost town'
The popular holiday resort of Leysdown on Sea in Kent, which is surrounded by caravan parks, would normally be packed out with holiday makers from London and just coming into the start of season, but due to the Coronavirus and Gov 'lock down' restrictions on movement, the town is now resembles a ghost town.
Footage taken during daily exercise on March 26 shows the usually packed sandy beach completely empty and all of the arcades in the main promenade road and most of the holiday facilities shuttered and closed due to the Coronavirus.
