This is the terrifying moment a 4-foot-long cobra was found hiding inside the headlights of a motorscooter in central India.

The owner of the vehicle discovered the reptile on March 24th and called local snake-catcher, K Ramesh.

Ramesh managed to prise open the compartment containing the headlights and the cobra sprung out aggressively.

He then encouraged the snake to enter a large empty water bottle which he quickly sealed, safely trapping the snake.

The cobra was handed over to the forest department for relocation.

On 24th of March around 3:30 pm when Chethan was going on a scooty in Yapral area , chethan says suddenly a snake came infront of my scooty and i applied a brake and fell on road ,the snake got scared and entered my scooty .
I called snake rescuer K ramesh from friends of Snake organisation . According to rescuer K ramesh it was a 4feet cobra snake . After rescue i gave it to my organisation which after all the formalities will handover to forest department .
