Rainbows are appearing in and around Montreal in support of social distancing for the coronavirus, and to remind anyone who sees them that everything will be okay.

The clip, filmed during a dog walk, David Freiheit shows all the rainbows that have been put on peoples windows to bring a smile to passersby.

"Since the coronavirus lockdown has been in effect, I have been walking the dog more than I have ever walked him in my entire life. As of week three of the lockdown, I noticed a lot of rainbows in peoples windows. So today, while walking the dog, I decided to raise those kids drawing rainbows," the filmer told Newsflare.

This footage was filmed on March 29.
