Man in wheelchair brings a white flower (symbol of mourning) before police cordon in front of Prince Edward station
As Hong Kong Protesters attempted once again to commemorate the "deaths" of Prince Edward station (believed to have died during a violent police intervention on 31 August 2019), a man in a wheelchair could be seen holding a white flower in front of a riot police cordon. White flowers are symbol of mourning in Chinese culture. Eventually, the police removed the man and deployed a blue flag, advising bystanders that this was an illegal assembly and charged to make arrests.
