Fire-fighters spray disinfectants to sanitize houses, streets and vehicles as precautions to contain COVID-19 in Northern India

The fire tenders were used to spray of disinfectants across the city of Solan to contain the spread of Coronavirus during the 21-day lockdown in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The incident took place on April 1, 2020.

The video shows, firefighters spraying disinfectants on streets, closed shops, buildings and vehicles using a fire tender filled with disinfectants liquid for sanitizing.

According to the reports, the disinfectant used to sanitize was sodium hypochlorite chemical which is said to be an active ingredient in killing bacteria, fungi and virus.

The disinfectant was sprayed on both sides of the road and many parts of like Mall road Ganj Bazar, Upper Bazar, Lower Bazar and Rajgarh road.

Sanitary inspector stated, that till the Coronavirus diseases is completely overcome, we would keep sanitizing the entire city along with the Municipal Council.
