Amid the nationwide lockdown to stop the spread of coronavirus, a group of volunteers undertook sanitizing efforts on the streets and public places in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The incident took place in Kullu district on March 31, 2020.

The video shows the volunteers spraying disinfectants on shops and the streets.

Few volunteers were carrying containers on their backs and spraying sanitizers at the corners of the road.

According to the reports, the volunteers came forward to help the municipality in sanitizing the locality.

Residents are staying indoors amid the restrictions placed by the governments, while on only three positive cases were reported in the state.

While the entire nation is facing a complete lockdown for 21 days, few people have been coming forward to help the government and poor people in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
