Residents seal off Indian villages to stop Corona from spreading
Residents have begun to seal off their villages in many parts of India to protect themselves from the Corona virus.
A video from March 27 shows residents of Dhudukanahalli in K R Pete Taluk in South India blocking two roads leading to their village using stone slabs and tree branches.
According to a village leader Koti Subbe Gowda entry to and exit from the village has been strictly banned to keep the Corona virus at bay.
“We have formed group to keep vigil and enforce the ban,” he said.
