Fed up pedestrians have apparently used spray paint to create a running lane for joggers on the road - to keep them off the pavement.

The informal 'runners lane' has appeared on a street in Bristol - in an apparent bid to enforce social distancing rules.

The track has been created in an attempt to stop joggers from getting too close to others going about their daily business.

The words "runners please 2m" have been sprayed onto one side of a one-way road on Avon Crescent.

This footage was filmed on April 1.
