The nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic has left hundreds of daily wage workers stranded in western India.

The incident took place at Keshod tehsil in the Junagadh District of Gujarat on March 01, 2020.

The video shows the exodus of workers, attempting to find their way back home.

The local administrations have been working relentlessly to ferry these workers home.

According to sources, food and accommodation are being arranged by the authorities until these workers find their way back home.

The Indian government restricted the movements of workers from returning to their hometown amid an ongoing COVID-19 lockdown commencing from March 25.

Following this, several workers across the nation got stranded at multiple places with no public transport to shuttle them home.
