Thailand introduces covid-19 curfew
The night bazaar in Chiang Mai is deserted. Normally a busy tourist area,particularly at night, there are now few people and most businesses are not allowed to open. The area's pavements are normally crammed with vendor stalls but now there are none. Hotels are closing and staff are worrying about their jobs. Entertainment venues are shut. A nationwide curfew from 10pm till 4am was introduced on April 3d and additionally anyone entering the city has to self-isolate for fourteen days. The fire service regularly disinfects the streets.
