In the beautiful island of Sumba, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, a group of friends from Spain came to explore the local culture and traditions. During their visit, they were introduced to a unique local delicacy that left them with unforgettable memories: areca nut, commonly known as betel nut.

As a sign of respect, Sumbanese people offer this delicacy to all guests who visit their home. Even if the guest doesn't like it, they must try it by taking it in their hands.

Excited to share their culture with their new friends, the locals taught the Spanish visitors how to eat the betel nut. The visitors' reactions were priceless as they tried it for the first time.
