A herd of at least 11 elephants, along with their calves, were seen strolling on empty roads amid the ongoing 21-day lockdown, in the south Indian state of Karnataka.

The incident took place in Maldhare Junction of Kodagu district's Virajapete town on April 4, 2020.

The video shows, the herds of elephants taking a leisurely walk on the road along with their calves.

According to nature lovers, the lack of human presence has enabled the giant mammals to frequent the place.

A popular hill station, Coorg is known for its flora and fauna.
