Murals supporting NHS workers can be seen on a number of buildings around the Yorkshire town of Pontefract, England.

The clip, filmed on April 6, shows the colourful murals thanking NHS staff and key workers for all they are doing during the coronavirus outbreak.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Murals to lift the community spirits during the coronavirus lockdown, have appeared on a number of buildings in the town over the last week. The latest one revealed this morning shows a giant surgical face mask with a Superman logo in the centre and the words 'Stay Safe'."

The latest one revealed this morning (Monday 6th April) shows a giant surgical face mask with a Superman logo in the centre and the words 'Stay Safe'. Two other pieces appeared on the side of public houses in the town centre, after landlords asked a local artist to create something to keep serving the community after their premises were forced to close by the Prime Minister.The Horse Vaults pub shows a nurse wearing a surgical mask, while the NHS logo painted above shows the Superman logo which replaces the 'S' from the health services logo. The next piece is located on gates at The Hope & Anchor public house a few hundred yards away that shows a girl in face mask throwing a tin of paint in the form of a rainbow. The NHS logo appears above and the words 'And All Keyworkers' finish the piece off. The moving tributes were produced by local talented artist Rachel List, who has been overwhelmed by the response since her first piece appeared on the side of Horse Vaults.
The public who don't know who the artist is, are assuming it was the famous artist 'Banksy' and are sharing photos on social media with the hashtag #Banksy. Rachel has her own Facebook page RadGurlToTheRescue.
