Residents show gratitude to cops by showers of flower petals for their service amid lockdown in Northern India
The residents of welcomed the cops with showers of flower petals during their lockdown patrolling, as their gratitude to the cops who are working endlessly to keep a watch on violators and in containing the spread of COVID-19 in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand.
The incident took place in Udham Singh Nagar on April 7, 2020, at 1 pm.
The video shows, the residents throwing flower petals on the cops to show their gratitude.
According to the reports, the cops entered locality making announcement and appealing the people to stay at home, they were welcomed with showers of flower petals.
The Police Inspector was astonished by the act and got down from his car and spoke to the residents while maintaining social distancing.
The cops are endlessly fighting to ensure the lockdown and contain the spread in the COVID-19 virus.
People have been requested to stay home and stay safe by the cops.
