This is the hilarious moment DJ the family dog tried and failed to complete the toilet paper jumping challenge.

The challenge is going viral during the coronavirus lockdown with many pets trying to complete the trick.

The clip, filmed on April 8, shows the pup jumping over various stacks of toilet paper. Starting with one line of eight rolls and increasing the height of the stack for every jump.

DJ manages to get quite high with the jumps before he realises it would be easier to break down the stack.

DJ's owner, Amy, explained to Newsflare: "while in isolation during the Coronavirus outbreak, we have kept ourselves busy. How did we do it? Each day, we laid out a new level of toilet paper. We gave DJ 24 hours to get used to it and practice while we went about our day.

"The following morning, we recorded that level before adding another layer of toilet paper. We used treats to call him over the fence, while my daughter recorded it. She then was clever enough to put it all together in a cute video with all the stages."
