A 'driving range car', complete with a grass roof and tees to hit balls from, is being put up for sale at a raffle - with a portion of the profits going to the NHS.

YouTubers John Imrie & Kurt Hill created the car, which is also wrapped in a custom golf-ball body print.

Having first driven the car around the UK, John then started using it for one hour of exercise a day allowed by the UK Government during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Now they have both decided to set up an online raffle to sell the car. A percentage of the winning bid will go straight to 'NHS Charities Together', an appeal set up to aid health workers treating those suffering from coronavirus.

They hope to raise around 2000GBP from the raffle, where some of the money will be used to recoup the cost of designing this ultra-cool car.

The pair made this car on their YouTube Channel 'John Imrie' and have recently got back from touring the North Coast 500 just in time for lockdown. The car now resides with John at his home in Northumberland, where for a short time he was using it during his one hour of exercise a day allowed by the UK Government. But with the pair agreeing that a lot of the public are making excuses to be outside longer than they should, they have decided to leave it on the drive and not use it to show their support for 'Stay Home'.

John & Kurt have already set up the raffle so that 10% goes straight to the NHS charity. However if the raffle gets a lot of attention they will be donating a lot more. John said "This isn't an attempt to raise money for ourselves, we are about £500 into this car. If we made for example £2000 on the raffle I don't see why we couldn't donate at least £1000 of that to the NHS".

They have set the ticket limit to the maximum in case the raffle does pick up some attention and hope a lot of people get behind the cause! Either way no matter how many people enter the raffle, it ends on the 31st of July 2020 and the winner will be picked at random and the boys will be delivering the car to the winner in person. Kurt said "You could realistically win a car for £2" "Scrap it if you want, you'll still make some coin!". More information can be found on the link above.

On their recent road trip they went as far as to use a mix of normal golf-balls they believed they could retrieve and some biodegradable-balls for the shots they knew they wouldn't be able to get back! John said "People are quick to jump on the negatives they see in a video, it is almost like you can't win these days. That's why we invested in the bio golf-balls. We are a couple of idiots at times but always try our best to stay within the law and give people less of a chance to moan! We do find the negative comments we receive too funny, but hope with this latest project we can give something back and really receive some support".

John & Kurt had some big plans to really kick their channel off with crazy and consistent uploads over the summer and hope the lockdown can be lifted as soon as safely possible to do so. In the mean time they are trying their best to urge people to get involved with their raffle to help the NHS over this difficult time.
