The organization of the completely renewed racing circuit of Zandvoort in the Netherlands is awaiting a decision about the coming Dutch Grand Prix, after a Formula 1-less period of 35 years. The succes of Dutch racing car driver Max Verstappen boosted the return of the Grand Prix at the legendary dune circuit. The track has been re-designed, with a 34 percent compound banking build in record time, to make it more spectacular. The Zandvoort GP is now awaiting a decision for a new date to be set for the event. Latest news is the race will be held in August. The Dutch organizer is hoping the coronavirus crisis will not lead to a race without public. In the beach town of Zandvoort small businesses are disappointed, counting on the revenues this year of the world wide event, which would originally be held on the 3rd of May.
