Eslite bookstore is one of the biggest bookstores in Hong Kong, covering three floors of Hysan Place, in Causeway Bay. On Good Friday, the first day of Easter Holidays in Hong Kong, Hong Kong residents pilled into the bookstore to browse books shop for stationary, or read books in a reading space. The new regulation of the Hong Kong government prohibiting groups of more than 4 people was not really on the mind of the people as they grouped into a reading space to satisfy their literary cravings. Books on display were books on viruses and a book by Joshua Wong, the figurehead of the 2014 Umbrella Movement. Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan told the local media RTHK: "I also observe that there are many people in the streets, perhaps because of the Easter holidays. So I urge the general public to maintain social distancing, stay at home as far as possible, and avoid unnecessary gatherings and visits outside. Think before you act,"
