Bhopal cops are now using drones to keep monitor the movement of people in the town during the lockdown. To keep an eye especially on densely populated slum areas in the state capital police have started to vigil using ‘drone’ cameras and would take action against those loitering in these areas. Though the lockdown has strictly been implemented in the town, people especially youths are freely moving in some areas despite the district administration’s repeated appeal to confine to their houses to contain the spread of coronavirus.

DIG Bhopal Irshad Wali said that the drone monitoring is done to give a message that if someone is roaming without any emergency work action would be taken according to the video and pictures taken by the drone in the monitoring.
